2.5 Litre Hydroplanes

The Tri-City Water Follies is delighted to announce that the Apollo Columbia Cup will welcome 2.5 litre class hydroplanes to its lineup of exciting racing on the Columbia River July 26 – 28, 2024! 

2.5 litre Stock Hydroplanes (S-boats) are capable of speeds in excess of 100 mph, using 145 horsepower marine-based 2000 and 2300 Ford engines. S-boats offer race fans an exciting side-by-side race, showcasing driver skill and boat manueverability. Many S-boat drivers go on to race in bigger, higher-powered classes.
