Read This Before You Head to the River!
As you plan your trip to enjoy the Tri-Cities Water Follies, be sure to review the list of permitted and banned items. Knowing this information beforehand will make your entry to the viewing areas quicker and more trouble free. Please also be aware that:
- All Cars Are Subject to Search When Entering Columbia Park. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- All Coolers are Subject to Search When Entering Viewing Areas. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Insurance regulations require that no open-toe or mocassin-type shoes in the HOT Pit Area! Open Toe shoes are permitted in the cold pit area.
- Absolutely NO SMOKING in the pit areas. This is a NO TOLERANCE rule, as Jet-A and methanol fuels are stored here.
- When attending the Water Follies, Please leave your pets at home. People bringing pets to the event will be stopped at the security gates.
- Safety is paramount. For this reason, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’S) are not allowed within the event venue. UAV’S will be confiscated. Please read the Tri-Cities Water Follies Drone Policy document for more details.

- Weapons of any kind
- Drones/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’S)
- Squirt Bottles
- Squirt Guns/Super Soakers
- Glass Items
- Skateboards
- Unauthorized Motor Vehicles (Golf Carts, Scooters, etc.)
- Alcoholic Beverages (Unless Allowed by your special area)
- Pets/Critters
